GET INVOLVED

Springboard believes in connecting the local and global community to our work whether through providing homestays for our participants at home or overseas, or forming local or international partnerships or supporting local or international volunteers. Why not see how you can get involved or why not check out vacancies as they come up to work in the organisation.

Through placing host participants from our programmes with local families, Springboard can work with the local homestays who will serve as a direct link to our culture and provide a safe, comfortable environment that the participant can call ‘their home away from home’. When you host a participant, your family can make a real difference to the wellbeing of the participant and their integration into the community. Homestays can also be assured they are making a small, but significant contribution to peacebuilding and mutual understanding.

To apply

If you are interested in hosting a participant, please complete the interest form. A representative from Springboard will be in touch and provide you with full details of our homestay initiative.

Springboard believes in building a partnership approach and has over the years built extensive networks locally and internationally. We are experienced in collaborative working and partnerships with organisations across the world, most particularly within the capacity building, mutual understanding and peacebuilding arenas. Local partnerships are also critical to the organisation and programme partnerships provide a vital synergy in learning and exchange of practice.
